Áine Gladney Knox

Sinn Féin candidate for Carlow–Kilkenny

Áine Gladney-Knox has worked as a beauty therapist for many years across Carlow and Kilkenny. Married to John, they have 2 children and currently reside in Goresbridge. Originally from Bagenalstown, Áine comes from a family steeped in public service. Aine’s father Andy is a long serving member of Carlow County Council. This family commitment to public service has given Áine has given Áine a deep understanding of the issues that effect people across the constituency. Áine has been involved with the Fleadh in Bagenalstown as well as in the Mount Leinster charity walks imitative. Áine is a strong advocate of carers and people with disabilities as well as adequate provision of mental health services. Áine has the drive and commitment to be a strong voice for Carlow in Dail Eireann.
