Albert Dolan
Fianna Fáil candidate for Galway East
Albert Dolan is a 25-year-old Galway East native, running to be your representative in the upcoming general election. Albert was raised on a farm in Monivea, and studied agriculture in Mountbellew. He pursued a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Galway, where he later qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Albert now works alongside his family in their accountancy practice based in Loughrea.In addition to his professional background, Albert has been a dedicated community activist and public servant. Elected as a Galway County Councillor five years ago, he currently serves as Cathaoirleach of Galway County Council. Through his work in local government, Albert has gained invaluable insights into the pressing issues facing Galway East, infrastructure housing, supporting businesses, farmers and improving services for rural communities.
