Sinn Féin candidate for Cavan–Monaghan

Cathy Bennett has represented the people of North Monaghan as a Councillor for 12 years. She is currently the Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council, her second term in this role. Cathy stands four-square with Monaghan workers, families and communities. In her role as Chairperson of Monaghan Women’s Assembly, Cathy has championed women’s voices in public life. If elected to the Dáil she will ensure that Monaghan people finally get their fair share of investment in housing, in healthcare, in childcare and in the essential needs of all families.
