Chris MacManus is well known for his community and political activism, having proudly represented his wider Sligo community as a councillor since 1999, and the greater Northwest as an MEP in Brussels, highlightingdecades of regional imbalance and rural decline. He has championed the Northwest as a member of many national and local organisations and campaigns, including Palestinian Solidarity, Right2Water, and Yes Equality. Chris lives in Maugheraboy, Sligo.
