Conor Reddy
PBP–Solidarity candidate for Dublin North-West
I’m a community and housing activist from Ballygall. Since 2020 I’ve been a PhD researcher in Immunology at Trinity College Dublin, working to understand how stress and trauma negatively impacts the health of homeless people. I have been a key activist in the housing, environmental and Palestine Solidarity movements - playing a leading role in Take Back the City, Raise the Roof and the National Homeless and Housing Coalition. I’ve supported workers from Debenhams, ESB and across the Trade Union movement. I helped to found the PWO, a union for PhD researchers and served as its President from 2022-23. I’m a renter, part of the locked-out generation and now I’m running in the General Election to break the 102 year cycle of Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael rule to build a better, fairer Ireland for All. If elected, I will take only the average industrial wage - we need representatives who truly understand the struggles of ordinary working people.
