Dee Ryan
Fianna Fáil candidate for Limerick City
A member of the government’s Shannon Estuary Economic Taskforce, Dee spent the last five years as the Chief Executive Officer of Limerick Chamber. Prior to that she was self employed for more than a decade, running an SME in the heart of Limerick city. Her experience has given her an in depth understanding of the Midwest regional economy and a clear focus on what is needed to win further investment and jobs for Limerick. Dee is a working parent, with children in secondary and primary school ranging in ages from 15 down to 7, and she understands the many pressures that families are coming under. She is the daughter of the late Brian Corbett and Valerie O’Connor (both of Corbally), married to Mike Ryan (Raheen) and grew up in Castleconnell village, with her brothers Cathal and Ruairi. She placed third in the Limerick Mayor election, connecting with and winning exceptional support from voters
