Sinn Féin candidate for Cork South-Central

Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire is the Sinn Féin TD for Cork South Central since 2016. He was previously a member of Cork County Council for the Carrigaline District of Cork County Council Donnchadh is the Sinn Féin spokesperson on Social Protection. He has also been spokesperson on Justice, Education and on Children. Tá an suim ag Donnchadh in oidhreacht agus cultúr na tíre, agus is Gaeilgeoir líofa é He is ambitious for Cork, and believes that if Cork is to be the fastest growing City in Ireland, it needs major investment in Public Transport including a fit for purpose bus service and Light Rail, affordable housing for the people of Cork, as well as capital investment in Healthcare, Education. Donnchadh believes in Community as a force for good. He is a lifelong member of St Finbarrs National Hurling & Football Club, a member of the Board of Togher Community Association, and has also been a volunteer in many other ascepts of Community including Scouting and Family Support. Donnchadh (35) lives with his wife Eimear in Togher and their three children, Sé, Fiach & Nóinín
