Sinn Féin candidate for Dublin Mid-West

Eoin Ó Broin has been a TD for Dublin Mid-West since 2016 and was reflected in 2020. He was formerly a Councillor for the Clondalkin LEA on South Dublin County Council from 2014. Eoin is the party’s spokesperson on Housing and Planning. In the Dáil he has spearheaded the campaign for affordable homes, proper planning and tackling the legacy of Celtic Tiger era defects. He is author of five books on politics, housing, building defects and architecture. He has worked for Sinn Féin since 1995 in Belfast, Brussels and Dublin and also worked for one of the countries leading homeless charities from 2008 to 2011.
