PBP–Solidarity candidate for Sligo-Letrim

Gino O’Boyle is a Community Activist from Forthill in Sligo. He was co-opted onto Sligo County Council in 2015 after the passing of his father Seamie and was re-elected in 2019 and 2024. Gino he has spent the last decade fighting for a fairer Sligo. He has consistently opposed property taxes and rent increases while fighting for local services and public amenities. He has also played an active role in Right2Water, and the Cost of Living Campaign and is currently a member of the Sligo Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Gino has also been a local voice for the victims of Mother and Baby Homes. He says:
