Sinn Féin candidate for Louth

Born and raised in Drogheda, Joanna has been a member of Louth County Council since 2016, retaining her seat in 2019 and again in 2024. She is heavily involved in sport as chairperson of Drogheda United FC and was recently elected onto the FAI’s National League Committee, becoming a strong voice for Drogheda on a national stage. City status for Drogheda and proper local government, accountable to the people, are at the top of her agenda. As a councillor, Joanna has been relentless on the issues of housing as well as advocating for better facilities for those in addiction. She is a hardworking woman highlighting issues like dumping, road safety, housing maintenance, transfers, vacancy rates and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
