Pauline Tully
Sinn Féin candidate for Cavan–Monaghan
Incumbent TDPauline Tully has represented the Dail constituency of Cavan / Monaghan since February 2020. She is currently the Sinn Féin Spokesperson on Disability and Carers. She was vice chairperson of the Disability Matters Committee and a member of the Joint Committee for the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement. She was also a member of the Autism Committee and of the subsequent All-Party Parliamentary Group on Autism. She also participated in the Cross-Party Interest Group for Carers and the Cross Party Oireachtas Group on Cancer. Pauline is parent to two teenage sons Pearse and Eoghan and lives in rural Cavan near the villages of Ballinagh and Kilnaleck where she grew up on a small farm. She is a former teacher in Breifne College in Cavan Town. She served as a member of Cavan County Council from 1999 representing the Ballyjamesduff Electoral Area. Pauline retained the seat until 2012 when she resigned to meet the then care needs of her children. She is passionate about her community and is a strong voice in the Dáil for the people of Cavan and Monaghan and the disabled people and carers nationwide.
