She was born and raised in West Cork and has been a political activist for a number of years and has campaigned on housing, environmental issues, LGBT rights, and workers’ rights during this time. Her first exposure to the importance of people-power was through the Fridays for Future climate movement and since then she has been active in a wide range of campaigns to build a better Ireland. She was active in the student movement, has consistently campaigned in support of Palestine, and has been a committed anti-fascist voice.
